Service Assistance Program

Our Service Assistance Program offers help for our sick and our elderly with grocery shopping, picking up medication, transportation and other necessities. These services are performed on Wednesday of each week. Requests for such assistance are asked to be in no later than Monday of the week requested. Call 919-833-3283 Monday through Wednesday between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

Raleigh Inter-Church Housing Corporation

In the early 1970's First Cosmopolitan realized a need for low income housing for the handicapped and the elderly. In an attempt to respond to that need, Dr. Lewis organized a committee with representatives from five area churches to seek a grant from HUD The result of that grant created the Raleigh Inter-Church Housing Corporation, a housing complex located in West Raleigh, now known as Rich Park. Rich Park is just one of the many projects that First Cosmopolitan has become involved in to respond to the needs of our community.

Cosmo-Lewis Apartment Complex

The Cosmo-Lewis Apartment Complex, located in South East Raleigh, is another of our continuing efforts to speak to the housing needs of the elderly and 'special needs' citizens of our community.
